We tested the 40D in a bright teal and a berry shade, in sizes from M to 4XL equivalents. The 40D is a semi-opaque tight with Snag's reinforced weave, a wide comfort waistband, and a reinforced toe. Snag markets it for everyday wear across all sizes, so we wore them to the office, on walks, and through washes.
How it feels
The wide waistband is the headline: it stays up without rolling and does not cut in, even on larger bodies. The 40-denier knit has a soft matte finish and a surprising resistance to snags — our tester brushed against a rough bag strap without a run. The color payoff is excellent: saturated and even.
Fit and sizing
Snag's size chart is unusually detailed (height, weight, and body shape), which makes picking a size easy and accurate. The 4XL fit our curvier tester with room to spare and no ankle tension. This is genuinely inclusive grading, not a token extended size.
Color and everyday wear
