We tested the black pair in size M. The 60D Opaque is a solid, non-see-through tight with a soft brushed interior, a standard waistband, and a reinforced toe. Pretty Polly positions it for everyday winter wear, so we treated it exactly like that: commutes, office, and a long cold walk.
How it feels
The 60-denier knit is comfortably warm without bulk, and the inside has a soft hand that feels cozy against the skin. The opacity is full — no skin shows through — which is what you want in winter. The waistband is basic but stayed up through a day of sitting and walking.
Fit and sizing
Pretty Polly uses standard dress sizing; the M fit our 5'6" tester with a little ankle slack but no uncomfortable bunching. The 60-denier stretch is generous, so there is room if you are between sizes. Taller wearers should check the leg length on the pack.
Warmth and durability
For the price the durability was a pleasant surprise: no snags after a week of regular wear, and the toe held against low boots. It will not outlast a premium opaque, but at $10 a pack you can rotate freely.
