Oroblu is an Italian hosiery brand known for reliable sheers at reasonable prices. The Magie 20 Shiny is their entry-level glossy tight. At $16 it is one of the cheapest tights in our test rack, so we wanted to see if the quality matches the brand reputation.
What we tested
We tested the black pair in size Medium. The Magie 20 is a 20-denier sheer tight with a light shine, flat seams, and a standard elastic waistband. It is designed as an everyday sheer for office and casual wear.
How it feels
The fabric is smooth and slightly silky, with a subtle shine that works in professional settings. The waistband is comfortable for the first six hours but can start to feel snug by the end of a long day. The leg length is generous, so taller wearers should not feel pulled down.
Fit and sizing
The Medium fit true to size for our 5’6” tester and would likely fit up to 5’9”. The waistband has less stretch than the leg, so if you carry weight around the middle consider sizing up. The sheer finish is even with no noticeable reinforced panty line.
Durability after washing
After two hand washes the Magie 20 showed no runs or sagging. It is not as robust as a 40-denier tight, but for a 20-denier sheer it is reasonably durable. We recommend storing it away from jewelry and rough surfaces.
Value for money
At $16 the Magie 20 is excellent value for a reliable sheer tight. It is a safe choice if you need glossy sheers for regular office wear and do not want to spend twice as much.
