Oroblu Soft 70 Tights Review

Oroblu Soft 70 Tights
4.3
Silk Rosa Score Very good

Oroblu is an Italian brand with a reputation for comfortable everyday knits, and the Soft 70 is its mid-weight all-rounder. At about $16 it sits between a sheer and a winter opaque. We wore them across mild-to-cool days to see where they fit.

What we tested

We tested the black pair in size M. The Soft 70 is a 70-denier semi-opaque tight with a soft brushed interior, a comfort waistband, and a reinforced toe. Oroblu markets it for transitional weather, so we wore it through cool mornings and mild afternoons.

How it feels

The 70-denier knit is soft and quietly warm, with a brushed inside that feels gentle on skin. The opacity is solid enough for cooler days while staying lighter than a deep winter opaque. The waistband is wide and stayed flat through a day.

Fit and sizing

Oroblu follows Italian grading; the M fit our 5'6" tester with a little ankle slack but no bunching. The 70-denier stretch is generous, so between sizes is not an issue. Taller wearers should check leg length.

Everyday wear

For transitional weather the Soft 70 is a sweet spot: warmer than a 40D, less bulky than an 80D. After a week of wear and a wash it held shape and color. The reinforced toe coped with low boots.

Value for money

At $16 it is a sensible mid-weight buy from a real Italian brand. A good bridge tight for spring and autumn.

Pros

  • Soft brushed interior, cozy
  • Good transitional-weather weight
  • Wide flat waistband
  • Holds up through weekly wear

Cons

  • Not warm enough for deep winter
  • Matte, no dressy shine
  • Sizing can run slightly long

Who it's best for

Best for spring and autumn when a 40D is too light and an 80D too much. A comfortable daily mid-weight.
